To celebrate the North Carolina Zoo's 50th anniversary this year, Downtown Asheboro Inc. is hosting a new event, Zoo City StrEAT Fest on Saturday April 20th, from 5-8pm. We are bringing all the things you love about downtown to the outdoors in honor of Earth Day, and our friends from the Zoo will be bringing activities to highlight all the great work they do for conservation and wildlife. This event will include outdoor dining, live music, free activities for kids, special pop-ups, and more.
