DAI and City of Asheboro Announce 2026 Summer Concert Series Line Up

Asheboro, NC – Downtown Asheboro Inc. (DAI) and the City of Asheboro are excited to announce the 2026 Friday and Sunday Summer Concert Series lineup, bringing live music to Bicentennial Park with nine free concerts from May 17 through September 13.

The Rock’n the Park Concert Series returns on Friday nights once a month, featuring high-energy tribute bands that bring legendary music to life. All concerts kick off at 6:30 PM with a local opening act, followed by the tribute band performance starting at 8:00 PM:

• May 22 – MegaStars Of Country Tribute to Brooks & Dunn

• June 26 – Heart Breaker: The Ultimate Heart Tribute Band

• July 24 – Black Pearl Party Band: The Ultimate Yacht Rock Experience

• August 14 – September: A Tribute to Earth, Wind & Fire

  
  

"Our goal is to provide a range of decades, genres, and experiences throughout the series while also booking top notch performers. This event not only creates a vibrant atmosphere for our community but also brings significant economic impact, with over 18,000 people visiting downtown Asheboro throughout the season," said Addie Corder, Downtown Development Manager and Main Street Program Coordinator for the City of Asheboro.

The Friday night series joins the City of Asheboro Summer Concert Series, which celebrates over 20 years of free Sunday evening concerts. This long-standing tradition continues with performances on select Sundays, all beginning at 6:00 PM:

• May 17 – Band of Oz

• June 14 – Part Time Party Time Band

• July 19 – The Catalinas

• August 9 – Phatt City

• September 13 – The Entertainers
